November 24, 200421 yr Hi all...I've got just a few questions, I plan to do an A320 simulator with several monitors. Can I use PSS A320 or Wilco A320 as a platform? Should I use another one? Thanks in advanceRegards...
November 26, 200421 yr Hi Lan088,You may use the PSS or the PIC A320 but there is a severe limitation, FSUIPC won't work. Almost all of the internal values used with these models are not usable for the time being.Another approach is to go with FreeFD or Project Magenta stuff but it is more costly...I went with the 320 PSS and I am using FSBUS to emulate keypress because with PSS you can easily program keys to switches with the "Panel Config" software. I have only one computer but with 4 videos output (2 on the AGP port -using a FX5900XT card - and 2 on a PCI FX5200 video card). The drawback is with this system there is no way for the moment to get values from the simulation to display on the FCU. As an example, if you select an altitude value on the FCU, you will see the change on the PFD but not on the altitude display on the FCU....I dream of the day someone will be able to "reverse engineer" the PSS code and make available a FSUIPC like module...hope it will help, altack
