hey, I am currently really enjoying using this PAI, as my AI source, BUT I still get Default AI which kill my FPS from -lets say- 10-> 3fps. i'd say backup the traffic.bgl, then kick the file off the system and reinstall the PAIhavent used it yet

Hi,You may also get AITM (or similar tools) and "sort out" the unwanted defaults.OR,get TTools, backup then decompile the traffic.BGL. You'll get the aircraft.txt, airports,txt and flightplans.txt files.Check the aircraft.txt for the default aircraft numbers (AC#xyz), switch to the flightplans.txt, search again for those mumbers and replace them with the numbers of e.g. PAI's or FSPainter's models.Recompile afterwards.In case all is messed up, re-install the backup traffic and get PAI's clean traffic.ToMey

unless you use those default planes, delete 'em

alright, I fixed it. I had to reinstall the base package. I must of over looked it :-(. well, I have basically deleted all of those crappy default planes(except for 737/747/777/Cessna 172/Baron 58) the rest are gone. Make sure to put the backup somewhere outside the scenedb folder, somewhere outside the FS2002 folder is best.If you don't it will get picked up and used for the AI traffic (or may be, might depend on filename).

Hello United777,If you want to use AI great jets without killing your FPS, you should do use AI jets from "AIProject" (an excellent site web where you will find your hapiness.In my case with 2 or 3 AI planes my FPS goes down from 17 (target) to 12 or 10 FPS. Now with using ONLY these AI planes I can have 15 or 20 planes in LFPG with 17 FPS !What is the secret ? These planes use texture optimized for AI and they don't need very much PC memory as the other ones.Really great ! :-beerchugThierry
