January 13, 200521 yr Hi AllI was wondering if anyone had problems switching the audio of 'Com2' radio in FSBUS. I am running FSBUS v2.2.0.1 and FSUIPC v3.44 with FS9 and its update. Simulating the switching action in FSBUS I can switch all audio channels (ie Com1, Nav1, Nav2, DME etc) except for 'Com2'. It uses offset address of 0x3122 bit 6. If I change the setting in the INI file to 'I8' instead of 'BIT' and make a on value of 64 (for bit 6) then it works. But I need to get it working in BIT mode not I8. Very strange!RegardsMike Smits
January 31, 200521 yr Hi!I can only confirm that I ometimes also have problems setting BITS directly. Setting a decimal value to the byte/word works. Maybe something for Dirk to look at?All the best,Ole J. Almenningenhttp://www.737cockpit.no
February 1, 200521 yr HiThanks for the reply. I have had success with sending a value of 64 (bit 7 = 1), as a word to address 0x3122, using FSBUS software. But this also changes Com1, Both, Nav1 and Nav2 etc, since a word is sent to FS2004 variable. I do not believe that the problem is with FSBUS software because I have done experiments with Lights variable 0x0d0c (in FSIF.INI file) and find that it works OK. So I wonder if it is something with FSUIPC. By the way, I also have the same problem when I run with FS2002.Very StrangeRegardsMike Smits
