January 19, 200521 yr Does anyone here have any experience with the new boards being offered by GoFlight? I'm looking for a usb interface solution for a helicopter simulator and have come across the GoFlight RMK TQ6 board which will accept up to 8 pots and 4 switch's. Could this be used as the primary X,Y,Z, Throttle, Collective, Rudder input? CH has given me a quote on a custom USB board for 5 axis - 8 button but the cost for the first one will run $175.00+ with each subsequent board running in the $110.00 range. Seems GoFlight has one that is close to the same with more axis and fewer switch's. But for about the same price I can go with a GoFlight TQ6 (8 axis + 4 Switch) and a T8 (8 switch's or toggles plus 8 LED's) for a total cost of $130.00.As of right now I have 2 Logitech Wingman 3D Extreme joysticks canabalized for control but the tiny little pots are hard to work with and are very - VERY cheap. I have repalced them with some off the shelf pots and with a lot of tweeking, cussing and praying I can get the system to work.Any Ideas?
