FSLED question

Hi guys.FSCom + Key up and running. Flashed Led without reported errors. When I read the pic I get:3008 009A 281D 0000 0095 0E03 0096 0185 1213 0392 0C93 1C03 2810 1593 3003 0092 0812 3E0C 0084 0800 0086 0813 0085 110B 0E16 0083 0E95 0E15 0009 1683 3083 0081 3010 0085 3000 0086 1283 3001 0093 0192 30A0 008B 3000 008C 008D 008E 008F 204B 1F97 282F 0817 3903 009B 0C97 0C17 391F 009C 021A 1D03 282F 0190 204B 1817 1790 0E17 3903 3E0C 138B 0084 204B 0817 0710 0080 178B 282F 1A05 284B 0000 0000 0197 3009 0098 0C97 1397 1A05 1797 0398 1903 285B 205E 2852 1A05 0008 285B 3009 0094 0394 1D03 2860 0000 0008 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 Are the 0000's normal? Perhaps all memory is not used?Troubleshooter is almost correct.PIN 4 (0) 0,11 V(13,5) 14,1 VPin 12(0) 0,02 V(5) 5,02 VPin 13(0) 0,02 V(5) 5,02 VPin 14 5VThen I go to normal mode (change jumpers on led + com)0 V on all the pins of the 100 ohm resistors. 0 v on all the pins of the transistors. That can not be normal.Could the PIC be blown? Tkx for any ideas.regards Norbert

Be careful that the outputs are multiplexed, in other word the current is blinking, that cause some voltmeters unable to measurate the voltage ... the best way is an oscilloscope. Some PICs are deficient, try with another one but normally if you can flash and read the pic it might be ok ..?Have you tried to wire a LED on the module and test it with the test function ?BOB

Hi BobI've read about the difficulty to read the voltage from the pins because of the matrixstructure.I tries the led test function and tries a led (both ways around) nothing happened. I did a search on this forum with fsled and read that I should have 5 volts on the resistors. I have 0. I will change the pic and post the results.regardsNorbert

NorbertEven the signals to the resistors are multiplexed so you won't see 5V unless your in "(DO)LED test" mode. Have you tried measuring the "voltage levels" in test mode??Gus

Well , I am one step backwards at the moment. I changed the pic for a brand new one. Now I cannot flash anymore, read after write error.Troubleshooter:PIN 4(0) 14,1 V(13,5) 14,1 VPin 12(0) 5,02 V(5) 5,02 VPin 13(0) 5,02 V(5) 5,02 VPin 14 5VAny suggestions?I could flash the pic on my fskey-pcb, but I think flashing is also a check for the correctnes of a part of the pcb? And it flashed without errors with the old pic.regardsNorbert

Did you forget the reset jumper?Haveing 14V all the time on the pin4 looks like the reset jumper is on.

Well guys , eventually it worked. After measuring no faults or shorts on the fsled pcb, I flashed the FSLED PIC on the FSKEY PCB. That worked, now my FSLED board works fine. ALso now I see that reading the fsledpic gives a different result then above (although I did not get a error at that point).Anyway, it works. thanks for the helpNorbert
