Built rudder pedals...now pitch too sensitive

Featured Replies

I have built a set of rudder pedals, using the guts from a USB joystick. I have run the Windows XP calibration. I have set all assignments in FS2004. For some reason, when I am using my rudder pedals my pitch axis becomes very sensitive. Roll sensitivity is normal. Any ideas? Let me know if you need more information. Thanks in advance!Royer

If you have a registered version of FSUIPC I suggest that you use the slope function om rudder axis, this will give you very smooth movement yet still possibility to make sharp turns at low speed.

Hi Johan.I am using a registered version 3.0.4 of FSUIPC & I still have some problems with the rudder. Where do you find this slope for the rudder? I always calibrate in windows & then in FSUIPC.Thanks,Jim

First you need to update to later version of FSUIPC, slope wasn't available in your version, as you have the registered version it's just to download latest version and overwrite old .dll file in modules folder, then you'll see the slope function where you calibrate axis in FSUIPC
