February 20, 200521 yr Can't believe it.Another "respectable" member of the so called "community"It just gives me nausea. Disgusting.
February 20, 200521 yr I changed the subject so that everyone knows what this thread is about.I put up a warning flag on the wiki next to the link and added the url to the page with the full story. I think that's a better idea than just remove their link. Let this be a warning. This story sux big time .. I am very sorry to read those kind of things and those pictures look horrible !Very sad.
February 20, 200521 yr Good thought. I hope that all gangsters hanging around in our hobby will all be out of business soon.
February 20, 200521 yr Simbuilding is a booming business in (as we say) children-shoos.It is relatively new and most builders seek to find low-budget solutions because afterall it IS a hobby. If we do find low-budget solutions we know we can either expect something that is price-quality relativey ok, or else we just get spoiled (like some of the interfaces). If we don't find low-budget we grab for more expencive solutions if we don't find way to build it ourselves and then sometims it turns out there are rotten apples in the pack that cheat on us. Real shame.
February 21, 200521 yr >Wow, what a piece of junk. $700 for that?Well, not junk. If I'd post it as a pic of my new yoke I built, it wouldnt be that bad, since the expectation would be lower too. But $795 buys you a PFC Jetliner, as a comparison..//Tuomas
February 21, 200521 yr Tuomas:"If I'd post it as a pic of my new yoke I built, it wouldnt be that bad, since the expectation would be lower too."Not much lower, Tuomas.... we've seen the quality of your work. The general level of finish of that yoke would be poor if we were talking about a home-made hobby part. As a $700 commercial item.... "Junk" is the aptest description.Richard
