Guys Four of my computers OS has been upgraded into winXP. So, now I am trying to get it networked such as Peer-to-Peer/Server-to-Client in use of PM/WideFS. And I am bit lost in understanding how that can work in XP environment. Can anyone help?? Are there any manual that can be found? I don't think WideFS include anything in it. Help from you is appreicated.

What os did you have before?XP is the same as NT and 2000.Problems may arouse when mixing win98/me systems with XP/2000/NT, but that's because of 98/me.To create a network just configure all pcs with the same workgroup, same protocol (tcp/ip i know it works, the other one i don't know), same Subnet mask, and configure manual IPs for all pcs.If you want to share the internet connection without any 3rd part software, you need to use MS ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) and correctly configure it (may need to disable manual configuration for the lan, as it uses a dynamic DHCP server).Playing around with the Services Control Panel is not recommended (unless you really know what you are doing) as you can (almost) permanently disable/modify/prevent some functions.
