Problem with FSBUS-Keycontroller

Featured Replies

Hello there in the sky!!Is there someone out there who could help me?I have built an FSBUS-Keycontroller and I can

Hi IngvarYour problem is an odd one. With getting the inputs to the Com port and your Display board working it would appear FSCom is working correctly so it only leaves either a software problem or the Fskey board itself (or cable).I assume you would have reloaded the software etc. and thoroughly checked your Fskey pcb for soldering problems etc. Reflashing the PIC might be worth trying if you haven't already done so.Any problems I've had with FSbus have been self induced....ie something not correctly soldered or a short on the pcb. I've had no problems with the software on Win98SE or XP.Realise I haven't helped much but at least you know it should be working on your system.I would consider building another FSkey board if all else fails, and see how that goes.
