Two layers material-Last post

Featured Replies

Somehow my last post about two layers material has been deleted for no reason:-hmmm . Anybody knows what happened?Thank you

I can see your post , it is not deleted. I copied my answers here:http://www.ketele.com/then click on graveer materialen en grafluxThe problem with these materials is that when you cut your panel, you will have white sides. I make 3d panels with 2 layers , so they are no good to me.I use white perspex and mill the paint I put on it away. So mt characters are white too. Later on you can paint in the white characters for an even better effectIn fact I had some troubles when I started to engrave. Some parts of the characters A (the little triangle) and E (between the horizontal lines) were coming off when engraving. I discussed this in another very recent thread (working on plexi with cnc)I did what I learned there, I sanded the plexi and used another special plastic primer. Now it works fine. I hope to show the pics in a few days.Norbert
