777 Electrical Panel Schematic

Featured Replies

For anyone interested, this is the schematic I created for my electrical panel. It doesn't show the cannon plug (couldn't fit it on the page), but that component is basically identical to the Anti-Ice panel schematic. The lamps in the middle are the "On" Legends, and the lamps connected to the Phidget card at the bottom are the red annunciators.http://www.t-b-x.com/prather/777project/ne.../elecPanel7.JPGhttp://www.t-b-x.com/prather/777project/ne...elSchematic.jpgRoberthttp://777Simulator.com

Robert, Just curious... what type of Phidget interface are you using to get this korry to function/lit them up. How did it get work out when setting commands or etc with FS2Phidget software? Let me know..Arthur

Let me know..Certainly!I am using the Phidget 0/16/16 card for this panel. The wiring is pretty straight forward, but there is one important thing to remember. For me, the inputs would only work if I connect the ground (for the inputs) to a small power supply (5 volts works well). You will see that one side of the lamp is connected to whichever I/O pin I want to use (1-16), and the other nodes are all tied together and connected to the positive side of a continuous 5 volt power supply. Then the negative side of the power supply is connected to ground.Without connecting the Phidget inputs to a power source, I couldn't get them to work. Although I've not use the 8/8/8 board, I seem to recall hearing that you don't have to do this to get those inputs to work.Robert

Oh NOW this got my attention... Neat job and simple. Thinking about getting one of those card when start working on overhead panels. But, before I go futher, I'm Curious. If you are... or going to work on APU panel, I assume you re going to get another 0/16/16 card? if so... how are you able to set up timing for all lights to appear if doing APU set up sequences? for example, in order to start up APU, it would indicate short illuminate light on "FAULT" korry plate. Then as APU valve is open, the APU RUN light flashes twice stating the APU test is being performed... blah with all of stack sequences complication. Would that work with Phidgets 0/16/16? Let me know

I will be able to do all that with the same card on the electrical panel. I haven't wired it up yet, but the wiring is simple. And during the summer time, I will likely code all that directly into Pro MFD (or make it available to FS2Phidget). I am working on the status page, which contains the APU data.Robert

Thats cool... let me know how it goes for you after done coding.
