Hi Guys, flying from time to time with the great R4D/DC-3 from MAAM-Sim I wanted to control with a switch the tail wheel lock.since this command was not included in the standard "FlightSim destination" list I tried to add it according to the readme file. So I created a myFSIF.ini file but here is my concern:according to Pete Dowson's List of FS2004 Controls, the "Toggle_Tailwheel_Lock" offset is 66541. When converted in hexa it is 0x103ED. Unfortunatly this offset doesn't work for me.Do I miss something ? I realised all other offsets in the FSIF.ini are below 0xFFFF and this one (as every other offsets in the Pete Dowson's list) is above this value ???? Do I have to substract 0xFFFF ????Thank you in advance for any advice,Francois

Hi Richard, thanks to your help I downloaded and used FSInterrogate but here again all offset are below 0xFFFF. I didn't noticed any clear change with FSInterrogate when toggling on and off the tail wheel lock but as you suspect I am a totally newbie with this program (and offsets of course...).When reading the Pete Dowson's "FSUIPC for advanced user" manual, it is said that "...All the true FS controls are represented by numbers above 65536..."Does anybody here already used such "true FS controls" to add into FSBUS ?As last chance I can still emulate keypress with FSBUS so that I can use with FSUIPC but I really want to understand how to directly link FSBUS to FSUIPC and spare a keypress.Again thanks for your help,Francois

Tailwheel Lock is a command directly available in FS.So i think that the offset it refers to is not an FSUIPC offset, rather an internal offset used by fsuipc for the advanced functions provided in the registered version.I am not familiar with that kind of stuff as i mainly use offsets, but i think you are wrong in where you are looking for this thing. It is not in the official SDK offset list, so it must be somewhere else.

I guess you are right so where to look ?Moreover, I builted a small replica of the bottom of the DC-3 overhead panel with the 2 feathering push buttons and the dual magneto switches. All these functions exists in the Pete Dowson's "List of FS2004 Controls" so I need to know how to drive them through FSBUS. In last chance I can still emulate keypress to use then with registered FSUIPC but I would rather go directly within FSBUS to Offsets....Regards,Francois
