May 8, 200521 yr hi, i just found this interface on the net, and there aren't many post in this forum about, has anyone made or making any software to interface it to MSFS?or does anyone have any info when i can code my own interface. i am not a big coder but iam a advanced PHP coder.thanks
May 8, 200521 yr heyI'm involved in PHCC as I got one of the first (if not the first) manufactured motherboard from Manuel :)The development to work with MSFS is going on, but PHCC development in itself is also still going on, so a plug-and-go solution (so to speak) like FSBUS.. not for now :)If you know PHP (like I do), the step to C/C++ won't be too big (I made it without too much problems). You are free to write an interface. PHCC is very easy, and MSFS can be easely read/controlled with FSUIPC, so go ahead if you can't wait :)Greets,Toine
May 8, 200521 yr I got PHCC mother board at home as well. I got the USB extention board as well though only 1 item soldered on it and not sure if I'm going to use it or not.I am waiting for the LCD expansion board. And of course a bit of C++ code that helps me underway. Some sort of library I can add to my soft would be nice. But as Toine says .. still no cigar with PHCC. It is under development. Firmware being written, protoboards being tested, etc etc.http://forums.varxec.net/index.php?t=threa...fcea6f02a0c2017You can check the forum here.
May 9, 200521 yr Well, the serialport libraries are ready, so you can start writing your own soft (as I am doing :) )Oh, and Por, edit your post and remove everything after .net/ => you are making your SID (and thus your account) available!
May 9, 200521 yr "You can't edit this message because the editing period has expired.":( :( :(As soon as you got some example code ready and it's C++ let me see it ;o)I'll check if I see it doable for me. But either way, all I'll be looking at first is the LCD module board software. If it turns out to be more easy, I might sell my Photon later on and go PHCC all the way. The problem is I can't code for Photon from C++. Else I should take my code to C++.Net
May 9, 200521 yr My interface will be open-source, but I don't know if you'll be able to use it. It will be 2 parts: a general interface to communicate (closed source) and plugins per interface. Eg: PHCC plugin, FSBUS plugin, ...Do you understand the PHCC protocol? Manuel supplied us with some examples, so the rest is really childsplay ;)
May 10, 200521 yr yes, everything you need is on the forumhttp://forums.varxec.net/index.php?t=msg&th=14=> serial port librarieshttp://forums.varxec.net/index.php?t=msg&th=21=> code examplegot to go now, my "frieten" are burning and the "brochetten" are also ready... TIME TO EAT!
