FSBUS PIC problem

Featured Replies

Hi, i've build the FSCOM3(with HIN232) and FSKEY3(PIC16F84A) module of FSBUS.They're both fine, althought the tests say so. The signaltest on the FSCOM card is succesfull, when i shortcut pin 4 and 10 i get my signal back nice. Then i build the FSKEY, i tried to flash it, but it just doesn't work(it says, write after read error). I measured the pins on voltage. 4 and 5 give 13.5 volts, and pin and pin 12 5v's. So everything is ok, you should say..Anybody know's what's wrong here? I checked the PCB's but also fine..I hope somebody can help me.Tnx,Milan

Some computers just dont work when flashing pic's in FSBUS.I have 4 available computers and only one of them can flash my FSBUS.Johan

Hmm maybe it's an security problem then :S

Hmmm problem "solved" I build the FSLED and tried to program that, it just worked!I programmed the software for FSKEY in the chip (on FSLED board) and placed it in my FSKEY board. Now it all works fine.Bug in FSKEY board or so? i solderded everything right O-)

Strange, but nice that it works for you now.On of my FSDisplay didn't flash, but I did same as you, flashed it in another card and then moved the PIC to the display card.Johan
