July 5, 200520 yr THese were taken several weeks ago. Since then the overhead has been filled and the lamp wiring completed.When my 5VDC/40A power supply arrives I'll begin wiring the lightplates, and then begin the signal wiring to the keyboard emulator.

July 5, 200520 yr The GPWS speaker is just wired into the computer speakers. It has no independant sounds for the warnings.

July 9, 200520 yr It's possible I guess. I'm not familiar with either of the real panels. I came very close to buying an EVAC panel on e-Bay a week or so ago, but I couldn't find one on a B727 from all of the pictures and diagrams I've seen, so I passed on it.Did you buy that EVAC panel on e-Bay from swift46? He has been my main supplier of B727 panels.

Since I have a EVAC panel which it>has its own warning sound when i connect it to power.>Therefore, I wonder if the GPWS will perform the same and have>its own voices.The EVAC is just an alarm, the GPWS is a small computer interfaced (at least on modern airplanes don't know on a 727) with baro and radar altimeters and with the DH selection mechanism.I can't just be plugged and used.And i forgot it is also interfaced with flaps and gears.And probably something else i don't know ;)
