My 737-800 sim

Featured Replies

Hello ! I upload a video of my B737-800 sim (update of progress) to opencockpits :http://www.opencockpits.com/modules.php?na...p=getit&lid=234 This simulater is based in :- XPlane simulator.- IOCards for electric systems.- ON-737 software for glass cockpit and system simulations.- FDS for panels. Regards.

VERY nice job on the cockpit, Congratulations!!!!!Thank you for sharing your project.

Hey Ferdie,Very nice sim mate, I can only hope that mine looks as good.Could you help me out with the ON737 systems that you have on your website. There currently in Spanish and there's no real explanation how they actually work or what systems they replicate.Look forward to your reply.Regards,Brad HellerNewcastle, Australia

ON737 have two parts :1) Glass cockpit2) System simulationsThis software is in continous develop and i test in my cockpit the beta versions.I use XPlane (the flight engine is the main for a good sim), and ON737 is ready to use with XPLUIPC. This module is a IOCP server for XPlane.1)ON737 use IOCP for connect. Only need run PFD,ND,EICAS in a TCP/IP network with IP of IOCP server.2) ON737 system is a develop in SIOC language for simulate all systems of a 737-800.You need run 3 SIOC servers : one for main system program, one for Interface connections (IOCards or other system using IOCP protocol), and other for connect to flight simulator (Xplane or MSFSimulator). The simulation of system *NOT* is based in a sequence of switchs or lights.ON737 is a real simulation for each item of a 737-800 (valves, buses, etc) and inter-connections. A model is created for each item (with energy consumption, etc). You can simulate problems like to burn a bus or break a valve and ON737 can simulate all problems when this happens. In this phase of develop, only beta versions are ready for download and the documentation is poor in this moment.I want to thank for the development group ON737 its work and dedication and flightdecksolutions by its contribution in this project.
