I got my master card soldered together, and just tested it for the first time and it works. I had to change the parallel port to bi-directional instead of ECP- is that normal? Ok, so it works...What is the power supply needed for? I noticed in the controller program that if I short an input+ground, it works with the power supply on or off. Is it only for outputs? Will it hurt anything if I use it with the power supply off?Are there English language versions available? I don't have "controller.exe", I have "controlador.exe". This is OK for now, but I have a feeling the language barrier may get tough as I get farther into it.

The power supply (+5v DC I believe) is for outputs. If you try and run outputs without the power supply nasty things will happen!The forum on opencockpits.com is reasonable for english language support. Have you tried the SIOC software yet??? Damned superb it is!CheersChris
