The visual debate

All,I have been doing alot of reading recently regarding all your different ideas and plans for creating an effective visual system.I have a couple of questions which I would be interested in your thoughts;1) Looking at the professional company Frasca they seem to use 3 projectors to create a 220/170 degree surrounding. If you haven

Do you have a link tot the DA 40 movie? The 3 projecttor setup is a great solution. The curved screen is the best of the two, but alignment seems difficult to me. It look beatifully aligned in the Frasca pic above. The way I want to go is the following.Put a projector about 3 meters in front of you , put a curved acryl mirro on you cockpit shell. (it is curved only horizontally). As a projection I will use a curved screen. This setup is extensively discussed on the builders forum of flightdecksolution, so perhaps you should see there.http://www.flightdecksolutions.com/forum/v...opic.php?t=1251regardsNorberthttp://home.wanadoo.nl/norbert.bosch

After watching those frasca movies, I would say , they look great. On the DA40 movie you can see a liitle of the overlap of the 3 projectors, but I couild live with that (lol). In real live the DA40 is not certified for rolls and loopings, I think the pilot is eager to show the smoothnes of the visuals of the sim.RegardsNorbert
