Strange,(But cool) AI flying

Featured Replies

Hi All,Running FS this evening I saw the strangest AI incident. I had just landed at KATL testing out a new EMB 120, and I had just stopped after entering the taxiway, when I noticed this AI 737 at the end of the runway, preping for takeoff. ATC had instructed him to 'hold-short' on my final approach, and now, with clearance, he was moving down the runway for takeoff. Right about Vr, I noticed the 737 bobble, gain a slight bit of altitude, bobble again and crash heavily back onto the runway, flames, sparkes all flying in his wake. The aircraft then continued to skid along the ground for what the red lables stated was almost 10 miles.I fired up the EMB, took off and held about 100 feet, and sure enough, here's this 737, bouncing, burning and throwing sparks, traveling down the countryside, and I think, should I have let it continue, it would have probably been in Cleveland by now..Strange AI incident for sure.Best to allClay

I have never seen that. I have seen them crash and disapear. I have seen them land without clearance. I have seen them pass me on approach when I was number 1 to land, but I have never seen them bounce across the countryside in flames! Pretty cool! Anyone else have AI stories to tell?
