new cockpit builder

Featured Replies

hello folks out there im new to this creating a cockpit at home stuff.so please bare with me, i already have the skeleton of my cockpit built, i will be using 9 monitors and four computers, i will be using FS9, i also would like to use eighter the 737 or the 747 by pmdg, im wanting to slowly incorporate switches into the systems in stead of using mouse clicks and so forth.from what i read so far that there is only certain add-ons that you can use to do that. from what i heard only level d 767 is the only add on that will work totally.if so where do i go from there, also if im correct FSBUS is a type of hardware that you build to allow you to use real buttons to interact with the FS9 software, in other words if i push a real button it will make a software button in FS9 work , like maybe a battery switch or somthing , maybe even the landing gear.if so can somone direct me to a site that explains in detail how to acomplish this, i have been hearing alot about this FSBUS.thank you fellow cockbit builders...........Robert

In general: read fscockpit and mikesflightdeck to start with (see links on my links page)Yes , you can interface 767level d completely with fsbus. Thanks to Nico Kaan's FSConv program.see FSBUS on my site for more info about fsbusregardsNorberthttp://home.wanadoo.nl/norbert.bosch

There are some stories on where to start at the IFSBI site.Have a look and grab what you need.
