March 28, 200620 yr Evening guys, havent been here much lately, busy with other things!Thought I'd update you all on my panels though, these were designed by me for our 146 STA simulator, we opted for completely custom designed panels, rather than a 146 style one, so I based them on A320/737 Classis style systems, keep things generic :)Designed them in CAD and had a local Laser Cutters cut them from 3mm Acrylic (the paint is PlatiKote Super Enamel - Satin Black). They will be backlit (obviously?), and spot the deliberate mistake (honest!) lol, will have the panel recut when I get the next batch made up (the pedistal section).Let me know what you think :)Phil
March 29, 200620 yr Hey, you fixed the spelling mistake that's on most airliner cockpits today! :-)//T
March 29, 200620 yr Well... It's correct according to the US spelling! And after all, we are all used to it! ;-)Nice catch though!George DorkofikisAthens, Hellashttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/811520/1704.png
March 31, 200620 yr I didn't quit catch the spelling difference, but I noticed that on the FUEL panel, you have marked the tanks as RIGHT-CENTER-RIGHT.So I suppose you have two fuel tanks on the right side :-)EDIT: Centre and not center too ;-)
April 12, 200620 yr Well spotted guys, I'm English so it'll be spelt the English way ;)A quick shot of all the overhead panels layed out, just need to add the backers and the hardware and theyre sorted! I'm very pleased with them considering I'm a homebuild DIYer armed with CAD and not a greatdeal else :)Next stop is to find the time to design the pedistal set & MIP set and get them laser cut, hopefully over the next week or two for the design and a few weeks for them to be made :)
