Rotary encoder Bourns FSKEY , FSBUS 2.43

Featured Replies

Hi, anybody knows if bourns ECW1J-B24-BC0024 is OK to connect to FSBUS classics FSKEY , soft 2.43?. If OK, the encoder is wiring directly to FSKEY?Thanks in advance .Alberto MaligneArgentina

Hi Alberto,Most rotary encoders connected to FSKEY CLASSIC requires the use of a REDEC circuit. Exceptions are some encoders sold by Conrad, but not sure which. You will have to contact Dirk about a list of compatible encoders.George DorkofikisAthens, Hellashttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/811520/1704.png

Thank you a lot George.

Hi AlbertoI can confirm you can use the Bourns directly connected to two consecutive pins of FSKEY ....you must tell the FSBUS Router that it is a Knitter (or also Alps I think works). No REDEC required.I have many of these operating on my sim/FSBUS without any problems.

Hi Ian, thanks for your advice. Could you tell me the code of the Bourns you used?. Thanks againAlberto MaligneArgentina

Hi AlbertoUsing Bourns ECW1J-B24-BC0024 1/4 cycle 24 detentsI have a spec sheet if you give me your email will send. These definitely work on FSBUS without REDEC, but you must configure as a Knitter in the FSBUS Router and it must be connected to two consecutive key inputs.

Thanks Ian, I will buy one and try it!!.Thanks again.
