May 12, 200620 yr Looking for advice on finding a Cessna 172 cockpit (or any light GA cockpit really). I've tried looking for boneyards online, but everyone I find is out west (I'm in Houston, Tx) and deals with the big jets. I'm thinking of trying to put a setup together similar to the one on www.cessnasim.com . I would think there should be one around here locally, but I'm hitting a roadblock on where to start looking. Also, ballpark what a fuselage like that might cost, if possible?TIAMike
May 12, 200620 yr Hi Mike,Try contacting local EAA people. They're plugged into the aviation scene and may be able to point you in the direction of a bit of low cost AC salvage. You can get contact info for the EAA chapters near you at www.eaa.orgAnother possibility is to subscribe to Trade-A-Plane www.trade-a-plane.com The print edition is a small newspaper sized bundle of advertisements for everything aviation related. I haven't looked at it recently, but I'd be surprised if you couldn't come up with something through it.Mikewww.mikesflightdeck.comwww.mikesflightdeckbooks.com
