Finding a Cessna cockpit

Featured Replies

Looking for advice on finding a Cessna 172 cockpit (or any light GA cockpit really). I've tried looking for boneyards online, but everyone I find is out west (I'm in Houston, Tx) and deals with the big jets. I'm thinking of trying to put a setup together similar to the one on www.cessnasim.com . I would think there should be one around here locally, but I'm hitting a roadblock on where to start looking. Also, ballpark what a fuselage like that might cost, if possible?TIAMike

Hi Mike,Try contacting local EAA people. They're plugged into the aviation scene and may be able to point you in the direction of a bit of low cost AC salvage. You can get contact info for the EAA chapters near you at www.eaa.orgAnother possibility is to subscribe to Trade-A-Plane www.trade-a-plane.com The print edition is a small newspaper sized bundle of advertisements for everything aviation related. I haven't looked at it recently, but I'd be surprised if you couldn't come up with something through it.Mikewww.mikesflightdeck.comwww.mikesflightdeckbooks.com
