Hi All,Heres my lame first attempt at a generic jet cockpit. Please dont laugh too loud :)Im using 2 computers and a projector for the visuals.I really learned alot from this firstattempt and just recently found this forum, whata wealth of info is posted here!!!!!!!Anyway i read a post from someone asking about PCAVIATOR'SUSB switch. I have one and it works flawless !!!I use all ten assignments that it offers and i just bought a second one to add ten more functions for my next attempt atbuilding.Lots of functions like nav-gps,pitot heat, de-icers,fuel pumps, engine start valves, autothrottle, flight director, avionics master and so many more can be modeled very very easily.I highly reccomend it.

There is nothing "lame" that I can see. Actually looks like a very noteworthy accomplishment that probably does an excellent job of getting you deeply into the flight sim illusion.Welcome to the forum.Mikewww.mikesflightdeck.com

I agree with Mike, there's absolutely nothing "lame" about your setup. You have built something that many simmer's would be (and are) envious of.Great work.

Blimey, if that's lame then I'd love to see something you think is pretty good! Now, if you had written 'Airbus' on the left of your main panel instead of B737N I might have said something different. All the best,Chriswww.virtual737.com

By the way Nice throttle quadrant!! CRJ I believe?Regards,Roberto

Hi, It is a great first cockpit, more complete than most first attempts... I'm sure you will have a lot of nice flights in it, unless you are going to build even more stuff into it. That is the hardest part I find, to balance the building time and the flight-time. Building is such fun, just to get the next switch or rotary working.Enjoy!

Hi All and thanks for the nice comments!!!Looking at alot of other users cockpits made mine seem lame but it does work very well.I have read alot on this site in the past two days, lots to learn yet!!!!I fly the 737 only and have numerous add ons, most of the aircrafts systems are modeledexcept the APU. Feelthere's 737 PIC is awesome but so is the default 737 (with alot of tweaking), i also have PMDG's737. I fly all the time using fspassengers, makes it even morerealistic having to manage the passengers. After seeing alot of different cockpits on this forum all i can say is WOW !!!!! I cant wait to get started on a new one, the only problem is my other hobby, R/C helicopters which eats most of myfree money. It all started for me in flightsimming with the relase ofSimlogic FS for the Commodore 128..LOL !!!! Seems like a lifetime ago.Heres a pic of how i started this project and a pic of my second love,my heli and the love of my life my son Warren.Happyflyin' all!!!!David
