Featured Replies

Hello!I'm Italian guy (sorry for my bad english)I have started to build FSBUS NG boards one months ago.The COM board seems to bo OK, I have build and test it with informationfounded in manual. The communication between Board and PC is OK and all ledflashing and FSAdmin receive the data transmittedI have a problem with DIO Board: I do not succeed with firmware flashWith PonyProg2000 version 2.06fWhen i Try to readout the security bits the prog response is like "DeviceUnknoun or not present" During this process the yellow light of COM Boardflash, bat the green is dark. Also flashing program or write security bitsproduce the same result.I have controlled soldering, link and components, the ATMega8535 is powered at5,35V. The max power of my power supply is 500mA, it's OK?The ATMEGA8535 is broken? What about J16 present in the last revision of DIO Board? I didn't foundinformation in manual. Thanks a lot for responseCiao!

Hi Italian guyYou have to set J16 before you start with the flash procedure. The J16 is added later then the present doc files.See my attachment for the location of J16. If you close J16 the green led wil light up. J16 has only to be on for flashing and making adjustments in fsadmin. Remove it for normal operation.PSThe version I show you here has one mistake (that was not present in the schema in the present pdf file): pin 3 of IC2 has to be connected to ground.RegardsNorberthttp://home.wanadoo.nl/norbert.bosch/http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/152129.gif
