OpenCockpits inputs connections card

Featured Replies

Hi!I am just about to start attaching all my wires the the cards I have. However, since I have two inputs cards and one outputs card attached to the master card, and since I can find no documentation, I need some advice. Has anyone here worked with these cards? Thanks,Roger

I'm using successfully the Master Card but I didn't understand what kind of cards you have got... Assuming you have the Master Card then what do you mean with "two input cards and one output card"? Do you mean you have got a display card? A Servo Card?Regards,Bob

Thanks for replying Bob!Actually, I mean exactly what the message says. The inputs and outputs cards makes it easier to connect wires since I can fasten them with screws. They are available only in OpenCockpits web shop. Thanks!Roger

I received a reply from Nico Kaan at the OpenCockpits forum and we thought it might be a good idea to post it here aswell. First of all I would like to emphasize that we are talking about the breakout cards that OpenCockpits call inputs and outputs connections cards. These can only be found in their web shop and there appears to be no documentation on these cards at their site. However, Nico has a great site that shows how to use these cards at: www.nicokaan.nl Basically, the inputs cards is designed as follows: 0-8 uses gnd1, 9-17 uses gnd2 and 18-26 uses gnd3 etc. The outputs cards uses one single ground which is pin #1/37. Pin 0/36 is +5V, which apparently is not really needed). The other 38 pins are the Outputs.Cheers,Roger

Ok...now that's clear.So...what do you want to know? I didn't use those cards but depending on your questions I can try to help you.Regards,Bob

Thanks again Bob! I really appreciate that you took the time to answer. As you can see above, I just received a reply from a person who has been working with these cards, so I already have my answer.Cheers,Roger

Ok...eheh...we sent our reply concurrently.Good you have solved.Regards,Bob
