Corrupt SceneryDB files!

Featured Replies

Hi Folks! Before I begin the arduous task of reinstalling FS2K2 and all the add-ons I have accumulated, I thought I would check to see if there is an easy way to load the standard Scenerydb folder off the Install CDs without going through the normal install process.I have loaded standard aircraft in this manner, but I haven't tried any other standard folder data within FS2K2. With my luck, it is probably a special-format compressed file that can not be individually installed with a typcial copy process. If anyone has experience with this area, please advise. Hoping to save time!KeithP.S. Worst case..I will attempt to rename the FS2002 folder to another name.. do a new install...then copy over non-standard stuff that I have installed like Simflyers and several aircraft.

Just to stop yet another poor person reinstalling the whole caboodle .. YES, you can extract the default SCENEDB files from the CDs and simply load them in. Not in front of my own computer right now, so can't help more, but wanted to stop you undertaking days of work!Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/cxkaitak.htmlhttp://www.swiremariners.com/reds.htmlhttp://www.swiremariners.com/cxkaitakv3.jpg
