September 2, 200619 yr Polmer,You can make square ones using layers of sheet aluminum and clear plastic. You will find details here: http://www.mikesflightdeck.com/Downloads/B...e%20Chapter.pdf Mikewww.mikesflightdeck.comwww.mikesflightdeckbooks.com
September 8, 200619 yr HelloBezel? Is this the same as an instrument front ring?I made mine out of aluminium. But I am in the lucky situation to have access to a lathing machine.Buy option: --> www.simkits.com in the Netherlands. They sell 2 types of black round bezels. There are cockpit builders how use two layers of cutted wood panels. One in the shape of a circuluar bezel and the other more square or octagonal. Both items are then glued together. If you add "fake" screws (cutted bolts) and paint everything, it might look really good.
September 8, 200619 yr Yes,Bezel=instrument front ringI, unfortunetly do not have acces to a lathing machine, but will see what I can do with some sintra pvc board ,a drummel tool and a steady hand....gulp.IF it looks shabby, I can always get out the wallet. Thanks,Polmer
