Has anyone got the 742 from Vmax? Can anyone tell me what they think of it, I am particuarly interested in the systems functionality and panel grapics, (ie, dreamfleets 737 and PMDG's 757 are the only two addons that satisfy me!) Thanks.ric

Yep, I am also wondering, I saw hte pics from the site, and it looks like the 747 Classic of DF! well, I hope they made the INS system atleast functionable so we don't have the Default GPS system. but it looks GREAT!!! I am thinking of getting it. if any one has it, please inform us :-hah

I suggest you re-read the press release - it's on pre-order now for a release in late September.

The INS is the same one that was used in the original version of this panel by Ralph - it works pretty much exactly as per the real thing, including the limit of 9 waypoints! Makes for interesting oceanic flying when you have to enter new waypoints in flight.AndyEGTR

Oh yeah, I read that after I posted ;-) as mentioned above, I did not see any pictures of the control pedstall. If the INS is working thats brilliant but what about the pedstall? Will that be modelled, does anyone know???Cheers

Check out www.panelshop.com for a whole lot more detail than appeared at the VMAX site.AndyEGTR

I am using the original 747 Classic in FS2002 / FS2000 and it remains one of my favorite planes to fly. This one is sure to impress as well.
