The company I work at is giving us a choice of a couple different Xmas gifts as a "employee appreciation gift" since we're grossly exceeding our numbers this year. The options were:30 GB Ipod10.5" Digital picture frame w/memory cardSlingBox Pro10.2" swivel screen portable DVD playerI don't really need the Ipod or the Slingbox as I have better solutions already. I was thinking I might be able to somehow hack the display off the unit and use it as some sort of dedicated radio stack display or GPS display in FSX. Yes that's possible as long as your grafic card has a video out.I use a s-video out adapter cable. On the other side it has that yellow connector (cinch?).Then you have to transform the signal to your dvd input device.I use a trust televiewer for that.See my webpage for further details.
