Hello all,I have a second computer with this problem and was wondering if anyone else has had this issue. I installed the newest FSBUS software that I could find and it worked great. Then FSADMIN stopped working; FSADMIN "cannot open COM2: CreateFile(COM2): failed 87". Tried the same exe/bpl/dll's on a third system and they worked. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling. FSBUS (router) does work however.Thanks in advance.Eric

Thanks for your reply and while I'm at it, thanks for your site. I really enjoy and reference your site frequently.The com port is free (no other apps loaded), and is the same one I use for FSBUS (router). Hyperterm also works with that port. It must be something I did with FSAdmin - maybe opened another com app at the same time without knowing it? I guess it's not an obvious bug but rather user/operator error. I'll just use another laptop for only FSadmin and hope I don't repeat the error.Thanks,Eric
