January 19, 200719 yr Hi all,Does anyone still has contact with Ken or John from Dakensky? I was posting a question post in their forum last week, for asking whether they can return my 744 MCP. Today i check their forum again and realize I was "banned". Obviously someone see read my post and delete it and ban the account. I am very disappointed at this point.Just wonder anyone here have contact with real guys behind. Realize Ken been seriously sicked for long and John was taking care the business. What a pity for my MCP's gone. I learn a new lesson.Alkit
January 19, 200719 yr I don't think you've been banned. My account isn't working anymore as well, even tough I didn't post anything (at least not in this 'version' of the forum. I did in the previous version.)Haven't heard anything from Ken tough, I guess you already tried emailing? I also found a phonenumber somewhere that should belong to Daken LLC, the parent company of dakenskys, so you can call them if you want to... 001-973-9279678 Don't know if it is correct or if it still works, but I guess you can try.Toine
January 19, 200719 yr Ken posted an announcement on the DakenSkys forum on Jan 17th. To summarize: DakenSkys is still there. Ken feels his medical problems are behind him. Sounds like DakenSkys will likely be a part time venture for some time as he recovers from the financial hardships brought on by his illness. Please read the full posting at www.dakenskys.com for the details.Mikewww.mikesflightdeck.comwww.mikesflightdeckbooks.com
January 20, 200719 yr Thanks Toine and Mikefor the headingJust get John's email reply. Hope the thing will settle down soon. I hope....Really want my MCP back to me : (Alkit
January 20, 200719 yr I talked to Ken the other day, and he seems to be recovering well. Although as Mike mentioned, there are some setbacks. Ken's got a sound plan with much improved production plan and larger production area to provide for us sim builders. Ken got into the Flight-Sim parts business by accident, and as he said the other day... "It's now in my blood" We hooked another Simmie.... :)I look forward toward his recovery and getting settled at his new location. It'll be a few months, but, it's worth waiting for :)Matt Oliemanwww.a340project.uswww.MyCockpit.org
