April 13, 200719 yr Folks,My sim is still in boxes but I wanted to express my joy of finding some real parts again. I'm at 13 vs 18.I have found 13 of the 31 real parts I'm searching for. However, only 9 or 10 of the remainder I concider important to have.An overvieuw:http://users.skynet.be/porreke/blogger/upl...Gots-720170.jpgThe greens I got, the reds I still need. The things not colored are either: not important / easy to DIY / have to be DIY because of personal preferences. The most recent parts I found are a second F70/100 yoke (hope to trade them for real F50's in the future if possible, if not, I won't mind). Also I'm very excited about having found a gear-lever module with anunciators included. Last but not least, yet another overhead panel part: the lights panel!
April 13, 200719 yr Well done Philippe. Its hard enough finding real boeing parts let alone Fokker. Looking forward to seeing your progress.Rhydianwww.cessnasim.blogspot.com
April 15, 200719 yr Thnx Rhydian,It is more like bird spotting than active searching. Find a good place to sit and stay there to find out if something comes along.I found a good dutch bargain site. Similar to e-bay but on this one if you bid on something you're not legaly forced to go trough with the purchase. Most of the time someone puts something for sale, then you contact him via e-mail and make the deal.Fokkers are dutch planes so that's the best place I found untill now to see real parts come along. I got from there: 2 F70/100 yokes, a couple of panels and the gear lever. I saw a bended lightplate which covers the throttle quad pass aswell, but the price was way to high.Only way I could gather things faster is personal contacts with mechanics wokring on the planes. Those however are hard to find.
