Richard, thank you for posting this....and to follow up just two short years later....(sorry)Out of the Primus project that encompassed 5 years of R&D, we have launched STAR - the motion sim development kit. Read the comprehensive update here. Or to jump to the good stuff, go here.In short, STAR is analogous to buying the jet engine of the plane and building the plane itself. It is the commercialization of a motion sim architecture pioneered by my late father :: (SimCraft DIY) :: which has also been adapted for motorsport simulation - and is currently in use by the US Army.The system has NO latency from controls in to motion out and is adaptable to many different existing cockpit setups. We have also put out some details about the kinds of chassis that can be built / purchased and are interested in feedback about the chassis options available.
