April 26, 200719 yr I have spent a while looking at FSBUS for possible use in my 737NG cockpit.I was wondering if users of this system could give me some feedback, on how difficult it is to build the controller and other items.I found a site http://www.rvdijk.nl/pcb.htm that sell the PCB and face plate for a few of the 737NG components, like the Nav/Comm units.Has anyone build these? How do they work? were they difficult to build? My final question for now is... will these FSBUS cards work through a serial to usb converter as my pc does not have a serial port? Thanks for any advice
April 26, 200719 yr HiI think this is a good and cheap solution.I build some of them for my own 737NG.It's not difficult to build them when you use the Quick info. Also on Rob's webpage. The only thing is that you have to drill the holes in the pcb, are you able to do that?Have you any experiance building pcb's?Yes, they will work with a convertor.Best regardsJan Geurtsen
