Dash 8 control problems

Featured Replies

I use FSUIPC (the latest version) with a full throttle quadrant to control prop, throttle, and mixture. It works well with every plane except the Dash 8. For some reason, the throttle jumps around, never going to idle. It is like it is fighting the joystick inputs for some reason. The other levers don't seem to move at all. Am I the only one having these problems? ThanksDavid

Hi :)Use these throttle + null zone settings, as they worked for me :) The throttle levers still move around a bit, but it will do :)

Hello !With the null zone it was good. To know how to move the other controls, read at least the "sample flight". Oleksiy

Thanks Oleksiy :)I'll read the Sample Flight soon :) We really appreciate what you have done :)

Thanks for your work! Looks like you really know what you're doing!First time since Fly! that I really have to work on procedures. Some won't like it. I do.

Oleksiy,First, let me thank you for this beautiful piece of work! Great opportunity to use multiple monitors. I'm a little confused why I need to change my null zone +/- sensitivity. My understanding was sensitivity should always be maxed and null zone minimized with good controllers. That gives me the best response on other models. It's no small matter to change these values with a full quadrant! Is it just the null zone which is critical? That wouldn't be much of a problem.David
