New Dash-8 awesome for IFR hops

Just finished a great flight on VATSIM in Oleksiy's fantastic new Dash-8. Visibility was very poor and flying the route and STAR manually using the Nav radios and EHSI was a real blast. Sometimes it's nice to be have to rely on charts and manully tuned radios rather than clicking on a 'direct to' option on an FMC. The plane behaved very well throughout and I think I've even finally got the landing about right (at least the runway was where I hoped it would be when I finally broke through the clouds!). I'm still landing a little long, but getting better. One question: has anybody had issues with ground steering under FSUIPC 2.89? Mine was intermittant on today's flight which has not been the case on previous trips. The only thing I can think of was that I updated FSUIPC last night so the NAV/VOR hold would work correctly. Anyway - the rudder worked fine to steer and I'm really enjoying this aircraft. Happy flying,Philip.
