Need testers for small scenery package

Featured Replies

I finally got around to packaging scenery for KPHN that adds statics and signs and updates landclass and I need some people to check out the zip file for me to test if all of the textures etc. are there brfore I upload it to Avsim. It's a small download from my Webpage (556K).http://www.geocities.com/b_stockwell/flightsim.htmLook under the files section. Please let me know if you download it, how it works and framerate performance. Posting here or e-mailing is fine. Thanks in advance for your time! http://bfu.avsim.net/sigpics/logo75b.gifLet your friends hear how much you love getting some bush...at Bush Net!http://www.flightsimnetwork.com/dcforum/Us...cdf6182b41d.jpg

OK so heres what I see.None of the signs have numbers or markings of any kind on them. Some of the taxiways bleed through. The default scenery is the same way but, hey while your there might as well fix it.The lake you added doesn't have ground textures around it. I suspect this is because the landclass BGL would have to be placed else where. Then is should be fine.Other than that everything appears OK. How many planes did you add?Nice to see someone else out there looking at the smaller airports. Keep up the good work.Pepe

OK...maybe the signs require some standard textures like ASD or VOD...hmmmm. Could you try moving the texture VODAPT7 from your KPHN/texture folder to your FS2002/texture folder? This may fix the sign problem. As for the lake...I didn't add one so something is amiss there. Maybe the BGL needs to be moved outside of the scenery folder, but it worked OK on my system. Where did you see it?Also there should be 7 prop planes and 2 biz jets all on the ramp. Is that what you see? Thanks for the help Pepe! Hopefully I'll have it sorted soon.http://bfu.avsim.net/sigpics/logo75b.gifhttp://www.flightsimnetwork.com/dcforum/Us...cdf6182b41d.jpg

Since you included the .apt file I had a look at it. The api you used also needs VODAPT8 and VODAPT9. Put those in the KPHN/texture folder and the signs are OK now. :)Sorry the lake I saw at first was just messed up river to the southeast of the airport.I moved the landclass bgl to a new folder with just a scenery folder inside and all is well. For some reason lanclass files don't work if you use a texture folder as well a scenery folder.Yup, seven prop airplanes and two biz jets, one with a stairs beside it.Just to nitpick one of the yellow signs labeled, 10 A 28, sits out in the taxiway just a tad. The one farthest to the West.I'll be happy to test any other changes you might make.Good luck and have fun.Pepe
