September 8, 200223 yr I just installed some AFCAD Overlays (by Richard Mohammed) for the first time. I flew to KORD, but all of the inbound traffic was being directed to general aviation parking and that was my only choice as well. There was plenty of departing traffic at the gates, but we weren't being sent there. My KORD scenery is default, but I have added the BRITE demo taxiway signs. Could that be the problem or something else? Any ideas? September 8, 200223 yr Well, I deleted the Brite Sign overlay. We'll see if that helps.Boyd BarkerSenior Command CaptainBOS Hub ManagerWestWind AirlinesTry my DF737 Checklist at http://home.houston.rr.com/checklist/checklist.html

September 8, 200223 yr The overlays to ATC/AI Aircraft are in a sence new Airports. Have you added them to the traffic.bgl by way of TTools? Then once you have added the airports, The AI traffic now have to be "Moved" to the new airport. This also can be done with TTools but a lot easyier with program called AI Mover.:-outtahttp://publish.hometown.aol.com/p3superb/images/675-2fs.jpg
September 8, 200223 yr Jeff, I used AI Traffic Mover, but I'll bet you dollars to doughnuts that I did something wrong. I bet I moved the default 737s, but since the DF737 is under it's own aircraft group, I bet I missed it. That must be the problem because I was just sent to GA parking in KBOS too. Thanks for the info!Boyd BarkerSenior Command CaptainBOS Hub ManagerWestWind AirlinesTry my DF737 Checklist at http://home.houston.rr.com/checklist/checklist.html
September 8, 200223 yr Oh another thing, If you are flying into a ariport with overlays, Say Bumpkinvile, it has 2 overlays, the orig KBMP, and then the 2 overlays 2BMP, and 3BMP. Say KBMP is set up for GA, 2BMP is set up for the big boys , and 3BMP is for the regionals, when planing a flight in a big boy(say B744) you need to plan flight to 2BMP, not KBMP, because if you arrive a KBMP the ATC only knows the GA ramp. Then comes the problem of ATC saying 2-Bravo-Mike-Papa, vice Bumpkinville, This is another great place the editvoicepack program comes in handy.:-outtahttp://publish.hometown.aol.com/p3superb/images/675-2fs.jpg
September 8, 200223 yr Problem solved. The AFCAD designer never assigned numbers to the gates so FS2K2 saw them all as GA. Thanks!Boyd BarkerSenior Command CaptainBOS Hub ManagerWestWind AirlinesTry my DF737 Checklist at http://home.houston.rr.com/checklist/checklist.html
