Can anyone point me in the direction of one of these aircraft, please? I live about one quarter of a mile from a now disused airfield, that in the weeks before and on D-Day was filled with these fine aircraft - on the Day, some towed the also famous Horsa gliders.

G'Day!One great source is right here in the AVSIm library.Go into the library in the "extended search" feature and do a search on the name Visser. Watch how many goodies will come up.Another is the VA I fly for, DC-3 Airwayshttp://www.dc3airways.com/entry.htmland another excellent site is:"The DC-3 Hangar"http://www.douglasdc3.comThere's lots more out there but these three alone will give you plenty to play with for awhile.Cheers!Heather
