AirWeGo Group PRExpansions continue at UK based VA group, AirWeGo. With routing a priority, the newly formed routing team are busily putting together a program of destinations that they feel will attract even more pilots. Recruitment has always been of great importance to the VA and this continues."We have always been able to attract first class pilots, but when less experienced applicants sign up, they are given an unbeatable training program." says CEO Richard Myers."We are achieving our success through these pilots, so we feel the program is totally justified. So anyone wishing to join a VA that understands newer flightsimmers should contact us at airwegogroup.co.uk."With its fleet almost complete now,AirWeGo have been actively seeking an aircraft in the 70 seater range, but as yet have been unsuccessful.Fleet manager, Ian Mayes said,"We have found the larger Boeing 737 and Airbus aircraft expensive to operate on routes more suited to an aircraft in this range. Its vital to our operations to choose the right aircraft." The search will go on!An important date in the AWG calender has always been the VA's AGM. This year it is to be held close to Birmingham airport, on the 14th September. With an increase in Executive staff the event is sure to be as vibrant as ever. Each officer will present his own personal views on policy before group policies are voted on. This format has always been very successful, ensuring that no one officer has total control. All major VA business is adopted in this fashion, another reason for their success.Routing officer Colin Paxton is busy putting together more accurate flightplans. "With new Reduced Vertical Separation Minimum (RVSM) for online flying, we needed flightplans to show correct flight levels for aircraft entering and leaving the UK. As time permits, we hope to extend this to other destinations soon."Colin is the newest recruit to the AirWeGo Executive and is already making his presence felt.Another new Exec to AirWeGo is Mark Wynne who has been busy putting together the AI traffic of AWG aircraft. This will make for more realistic flying as all of the AWG aircraft will be where they are supposed to be.Mark explains. "We are looking at ways to improve the flight experience of our pilots and theres nothing better than landing at an airport to see fellow AWG aircraft at the stand. Its more like home."So its all busy at AWG.
