Tuesday, August 6, 2002 restarted space flights for SimNASA. The beginning of the Apollo 7 countdown was showing a few minor problems that some of which could have become major, communications problems existed but was cleared along with a few other minor problems. The major concern was dark clouds nearing the launch pad along with a civilian aircraft close to the restricted zone, but shortly after 0000UT(20000EDT) Apollo 7 was given a go for launch from the MCC and promptly after Aloha(the Command Module name for Apollo 7) lifted off the pad.After launch everything went perfectly.
