Royal Armed Forces Virtual

Featured Replies

RAF Virtual is a new virtual military organisation that is run by experienced, dedicated and friendly staff. It simulates a variety of aviation activities that are conducted by the British Armed Forces in an online environment using Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002 and other software.RAFv comprises:- Fast Jet aircraft (Tornado GR4/F3, Harrier GR7 and Jaguar GR3)- Multi-Engine aircraft (VC-10, C-130J Hercules and C-17 Globemaster III) - Rotary aircraft (Merlin HC3).As you can see it definitely isn't all about Fast Jets. Multi-Engine pilots are particularly in demand. VC-10s are flown in both Transport and Air to Air Refuelling Roles. Hercules pilots can often find themselves transporting equipment at low level (250ft) and using air drops to resupply troops on the ground. All pilots joining RAFv are given a full training programme in the particular a/c type (FJ, ME or Rotary) that they are going to fly in. Finally RAFv Pilots will have the opportunity to be promoted to Squadron Commander or higher positions with associated ranks. For more information on this exciting organisation, please visit http://www.rafvirtual.orgIf you have any questions - please don't hesitate to contact the staff at RAFv ([email protected]).Thanks
