About Virtual Piedmont Airlines:We are a simulated virtual airline based out of Charlotte, NC. Our main Corporate office is located in Hampton Roads, VA. VPI began operations on June 7, 2003 with inaugural "Kickoff" service from CLT to LAX.Piedmont Aircraft:VPI operates a wide variety of aircraft from the Beech 1900D to the Boeing 777-200. Each aircraft in our fleet has been designed by the leading aircraft designers in the flight sim community today. Each aircraft is tailored to meet the experience levels of all pilots from the new pilot to the experienced ATP virtual pilot. June 27th VPI took delivery of the CRJ-200 and the Airbus A-320. The Boeing 717 is 50% complete and should be delivered by July 3, 2003. The A300, A319, A321, A330 will be entering the paint shop and delivered to VPI real soon.Hub Operations, Destinations:VPI hub operations are out of CLT, DAY, SYR, and MIA. VPI operates within the USA, Canada, Mexico, Caribbean, Central America, South America, and Europe.
