October 23, 200322 yr Hyperion Airways (VASX symbol HYPA) released their new proprietary software Sunday, marking the dawn of a new standard of excellence in virtual aviation.The new software, called FiFo, has now been issued to all pilots in the airline, and will be issued to all incoming pilots as they arrive.The software allows the pilots to reach any information they may need to manage their career in a single mouse click."Our pilots can find out how many hours they've got, they can file PiReps, they can view the roster, they can even view the timetable or the employee handbook," said Stephen Polansky, programmer of the new application and President of Human Resources Technologies.Hyperion Airways is the first airline to offer it's flight crews such an application."This is just another example of how Hyperion is raising the bar," said Scott E. Kelly, President of Operations. "We are rapidly getting a reputation as a leader. That's what we want."The virtual airline community has already reacted positively with news of the release.
