satscram1.jpgGang,UVA and VAC's own hosted event 'The Saturday Scramble' is scheduled to be held in Washington (IAD/DCA) on the 4/22 with arrivals between 2300z-0200z. However, the VATSIM Cross the Pond event is also scheduled to be held around the same time on the same day.The UVA Board Of Directors have agreed for the following two options to be avaliable for our pilots:Option 1Fly into Washington on a scheduled flight for the Saturday Scramble between the event hours. We would like to suggest that you try to fly from either EWR/JFK/BOS - IAD/DCA in support or the VATSIM event as domestic traffic. Double hours will be credited as usual SOP.The distance between JFK/BOS and IAD/DCA is short, we would like to see how many pilots can 'shuttle' between the three airports arriving in IAD/DCA for the Saturday Scramble!Option 2Any pilots who are registered and participate in the Cross The Pond event flying from EGLL/EGKK - KJFK/KBOS are eligible for DOUBLE HOURS CREDIT for the CTP event. If you arrive early into JFK/BOS, try to see if you can fly down to DCA/IAD for the Scramble and add to the Mayhem that will be the East Coast! For more information, please visit http://www.united-virtual.comAny questions, please do not hesitate to post below and we will answer as quickly as possible.Regards,Adam HayGroup Events ManagerVHQCCUAL022http://united-virtual.comSee you at the Scramble and Cross The Pond!
