Westernair Re-opens

After closing its doors to the public earlier this year, Westernair is once again open, and now has new operations out of Birmingham international.Officials at Westernair blame the airlines closure on its former base at Bristol, citing low interest, and poor passenger numbers.Along with the move, the airline also has a new downsized fleet, operating mostly regional flights. However, officials hope to extend European service as the airline grows, and secures more charter contracts to holiday destinations across Europe.Westernair is also now using the epirep automation system, which allows the airline to operate more smoothly."The emphasis of our airline is now more on enjoying the hobby of flight simulation and not making pilots adhere to stringent rules and regulations making flying more of a chore than a pleasure as is the case with so many VAs today," commented Leo Chancellor, CEO.For more information visit: http://www.westernair.org.uk
