Currently the majority of the Slipstream Airways flight network is housed in Atlanta Georgia (KATL). In order to begin to balance the flight load, some of the new assets will allow units to be shifted from one HUB to another. Executive Vice President Will Sanson said "Our network in Atlanta is emmense. While the airport is big enough to handle our operations, we want to make sure that we are not over burdening our terminals and customers."With the majority of Slipstream Airways flights departing from Atlanta it is key to share some of the load with the newly formed HUB in Los Angeles.KLAX HUB Manager Bobby Allison commented "Reallocating new aircraft into the Los Angeles network allows Slipstream Airways to capitalize on some drastically underserviced destinations." He continued "we are still researching routing needs from Los Angeles; as well as needs into Los Angeles." Beginning February 1st, 2007, Slipstream Airways will begin flight operations to the following airports:Los Angeles International Airport*KLAS - McCarran International Airport*KSJC - Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport*KPDX - Portland International Airport*KSLC - Salt Lake City International AirportHartsfield - Jackson Atlanta International Airport*KSAV - Savannah / Hilton Head International Airport*KLIT - Adams Filed Airport*MYNN - Nassau International Airport*MKJS - Donald Sangster International AirportThe expansion of operations into the Carribean is setting up the airline to position themselves strategically during the upcoming spring and summer travel season. This is basically our test."With corporate offices in Los Angeles California and flight operations based out of Atlanta's Hartsfield - Jackson Atlanta International Airport (KATL) and Los Angeles International Airport (KLAX), Slipstream Virtual Airways services 28 major cities in the United States, Canada, and Mexico with 16 Boeing 737-700's, 6 Boeing 717-200's, 5 Boeing 737-800's, and 5 Boeing 757-200's.
