fly APS is an exciting new virtual airline that will be opening in the early summer 2007. The Virtual Airline has been almost two years in the making.We are now going into our penultimate stage, which is to fill a number of high level positions. This post is the second most senior post within the organisation. The role of Depute Managing Director is a varied and exciting one. The Depute Managing Director will cover the executive duties of the Managing Director when the Managing Director is not available. They will also be directly responsible for the Publicity and Human Resources Departments. In addition to the Director of Human Resources and Director of Publicity the Hub Directors will report directly to the Depute Managing Director. The Depute Managing Director will also play an important role in relations with the community both inside and outside the organisation, including a role in the Disciplinary procedure within the organisation. The successful applicant will be issued with an E-mail account with the VA which is accessible via webmail.Qualifications and RequirementsFor legal reasons all applicants to the post must be aged 18 or over at the time they make their application. It is essential that the successful applicant has at least 12 months experience within the Flight Simulation Community. This post is a senior post within the organisation and carries Outer Executive Status (second tier of the Executive). The role of the Director of Website Development is to initially design the website for the Airline (including wither building automation or incorporating a pre-written automation system into the website) and then maintain the website. At fly APS we see this as a really crucial position because without a good website we cannot effectively display our professionalism, ethics and skill. The Director of Website Development will report directly to the Managing Director of the Airline. The successful applicant will be issued with an E-mail account with the VA which is accessible via webmail. Qualifications and RequirementsFor legal reasons all applicants to the post must be aged 16 or over at the time they make their application. It is essential that the successful candidate has a good command of the English Language. It is also essential that the successful applicant has experience in the field of website design and is willing to take on such a large project. They will also be a major point of contact for the other members of the Organisation. Prior to the launch of the organisation an assistant will be recruited for the successful applicant to help reduce work load. They will report directly to the Depute Managing Director. The successful applicant will receive a free E-mail account from the organisation which they can use for fly APS related business. This account can be accessed through a webmail client. This position carries Inner Executive Status (top tier of the Executive)Qualifications and RequirementsFor legal reasons all applicants to the post must be aged 18 or over at the time they make their application. It is essential that the successful applicant has at least 6 months experience within the Flight Simulation Community. Experience/knowledge about Aviation is desirable, but not essential.
