May 1, 200719 yr Press Release 25/04/07FlyintAIR Mid-Summer Expansion FlyintAIR are proud to announce the beginning of their consultation process for the planned mid-summer expansion. Details of the expansion itself are detailed below:What will the expansion involve? The proposed expansion will largely focus on expanding operations within our current base network at Inverness, Kent International Manston, Newcastle International and Cardiff International airports. Each of these bases will receive one new aircraft and we will also see the delivery of a further multi-base aircraft for holiday charters etc. In addition to expansion of our current bases, flyintAIR will be adding one new base to its network with one aircraft serving it primarily. This new base will be decided by way of consultation through online polls now active on the website. The expansion will see the flyintAIR fleet expand to 13 aircraft based across our network of five bases and the aircraft will be delivered and begin operations on Saturday 28th July 2007. New base consultation process. The new base will be decided by both members and non-members through an online poll on the website and for members only through the forum system. The consultation process will begin today (25th April 2007) and continue until Friday 1st June 2007 at 8Pm. This will allow the airline staff to draft timetables and arrange liveries before the 28th July while also allowing us time to perfect our current timetables. The new base will be chosen from the following: Belfast, Londonderry, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Blackpool, Leeds Bradford, Humberside, Shannon & Dublin. Here at flyintAIR we aim to make our airline as interactive and user oriented as possible because we know that if we expand to a base that you would like to fly from, you are more likely to fly for us!!!Our FleetThe details of our new fleet are yet to be finalised and we are also currently in talks with our painter regarding a possible new livery. If this does occur, we hope to have this rolled out across any new aircraft we expand to. Our current fleet have now been completely repainted and we hope that this in time will contribute to the success of the airline. Also the flykent Fokker 70 G-KNTC will transfer from being based at Kent International Manston. The expansion of six new aircraft to our operations is a significant expansion, almost doubling our current fleet and we hope to offer as wide a choice of new aircraft manufacturers and models as possible to suit different pilot
